General Questions

Is there a full list of X's commands available out there?

Yes, you can retrieve it using ”/msg X showcommands”.

Account questions

How do i create an X account?

Your nick will be your accountname, too. So choose your accountname by changing your nick. “/nick YourNewNick”

After that you can create an account by using the following command: “/MSG X SIGNUP your@email your@email”. Yes, its needed to type your email-address twice.

Why is an X account needed?

This account is needed to fully identify you in the IRC since nicknames cannot be registered on our network and everyone can fake your ident/hostname.

How can I login to my account?

Use the command “/MSG X@X-Bot.inside-irc.net LOGIN username password”.

I forgot my password... can you reset it for me?

No. You have to do this yourself by using the command “/MSG X REQUESTPASS username email”.

Why do I have to choose a secret question?

You have to choose a secret question to increase the security of your account. You can't change your password or email address if you don't know the correct answer.

I want to change my E-Mail.. but there is no command for this action at X. How can i do it?

Channel questions

How can I request X to my channel?

To get X to your channel, type: “/MSG R REQUEST #chan”.

Can I move X to another channel?

No, we do not let you move X to another channel under any circumstances. You must request X for the new channel using “/MSG R REQUEST #chan”

Why did X leave my channel?

X can leave your channel for a variety of reasons:

• Your channel has been inactive for ~4 weeks, which means nobody on the chanlev joined this channel during this time.
• The channel operators violated our network rules and X just got suspended from your channel.
• One of the owners of this channel removed all users from the chanlev.

I want to have “#channelxyz”, but there is already someone... Can you give me X anyway?

No. Please choose another name for your channel.

I want to have “#channelxyz”, there is already X but no one other.. Can you give me owner rights for that channel?

No, this will never happen! Wait until X parts this channel due to inactivity or just choose another name for your channel.
